Our mini-steak cleaver is a downsized take on a traditional butcher's cleaver. Designed for use as a steak knife, this little tool has all the characteristics of a butcher's cleaver: strength, power and balance. Available in a range of stunning Dymond Wood handle colours and featuring three traditional rivet pins, our knife cleavers are easy to hold and fun to use.

We use the traditional process of peening the brass bolster to give a seamless finish. Every knife cleaver is polished, lasered and finished by our craftsmen in Sheffield.

Yes. Meat cleavers are perfect for tasks that require a powerful up/down chopping motion like breaking down meat and bone. They are also great for chopping large, firm vegetables.
One feature you may have noticed about our mini-steak cleaver is the perfectly shaped hole in the blade. The purpose of this hole is to allow chefs to hang the knife cleaver on a nearby hook or even attach it to their belt when not in use. As a favourite kitchen tool, it makes sense that a chef would want easy access to their knife cleaver.
We recommend that you avoid soaking your knife cleaver fully as it can warp the handle and dull the blade. Instead, clean and dry your knife immediately after use. Remember to store it in such a way that it won’t bump into other knives or surfaces as this can dull the edges of the cleaver.

Our mini-steak cleavers are perfect for sectioning meat from the bone. This is down to the way that the knife is built. Its large sharp blade edge is designed to cut away flesh from the bone including fat and if necessary, the skin. The knife cleaver’s thick blade also makes it great for carrying out more heavy-duty tasks in the kitchen.
