I was drawn to this knife by the beauty of the Dymondwood Earth handle and it occured to me that I didn't have a quality bread knife so I decided I had to have it, I am not at all disappointed; the handle doesn't only look good it feels good and the balance of blade and handle is perfect, The heavy, sharp blade cuts through bread so easily. Before I have paid good money for quality knives for carving or for fish filletting but always thought I could make do with a cheap bread knife, I was wrong!
