How Our SAS Knives Are Made

Before we delve into how our knives are made, it’s important to note that we use only the finest steel, manufactured to our specifications. This ensures that your knife is able to handle whatever comes its way!

So, how are our knives made?

  1. The steel is cut by laser to ensure that every one of our knives starts its life as accurately as the designer so carefully penned on paper.

  2. Heat treatment and tempering produce the optimum crystalline structure in the steel for the desired toughness, flexibility and hardness of the blades.

  3. Finally, our craftsmen grind, shape and assemble every knife by hand, delivering the sharpness and quality of finish you can depend on in the most demanding of environments.

Our range of Scorpion Knives  also offer the perfect centrepiece for any knife collection. In fact, many of our customers claim the SAS knife became the standout piece in their existing collection. Our brand of Scorpion Knives also features historic knives such as the Fairbairn Sykes and British Army Clasp knife
